A consultation has been issued on the Relief for Charities Trading Activities. HMRC believes legislation will be required to preserve the current taxation status of charities trading activities and it anticipates introducing the proposed legislative changes in the 2006 Finance Bill.
CTRG will be responding to the consultation, so if you have any points that you wish CTRG to consider as part of its response, please let us know as soon as possible. The deadline for responses to HMRC is 10 February 2006.
